Lidl

Lidl is a grocery store chain that was founded in Germany. These days, it can be found all over the world. Targeting American consumers, we wanted to bring a little bit of Germany over to the New World. We thought Americans might appreciate German efficiency, low prices, quality and a minimalistic aesthetic but on American terms. So we thought the campaign of ‘German Quality, American Quantity’ would be a good fit for this grocery chain.

We wanted to generate buzz by opening up a pop-up grocery store in NYC. This way a German staple would be placed right at the heart of one of America’s busiest cities.
